Strong background in Core Java with good knowledge of Collections framework, knowledge of JSP/Servlets, and proficiency in Mark-up Languages like XML and JSON.

Thorough understanding of usage of the fundamental concepts like

Exception Handling, Static block/variables/classes, OOPS concepts, Collections, Multi-Threading, Web services, Java Design Patterns.

Knowledge of current frameworks, SDKs, APIs, and libraries.

Experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD).

Exposure and understanding of an industry-standard database.

MySQL with awareness of database design and SQL scripting knowledge and performance tuning.

Analytical thinking, strong problem-solving aptitude, team player, excellent communication skills.

Understanding of building tools like Ant, Maven, Gradle, etc.
